Uplifted and sheared away from its source, this imposing wall of layered rock stands as a testament of the colossal forces of nature.

Which way will get us safely out of this rut?
I have heard horror stories about going either far left or ultra right.
Isn’t there a midstream alternative?

Under an Alien Sun

The leader of our great nation has publicized a group of prominent doctors decrying the use of masks and promoting cures for the pandemic that assails us. Upon a closer look at the work of these acclaimed physicians, I have discovered that Alien DNA is being used in the production of the medicines. Of course, this immediately motivated me to travel in my private interstellar spacecraft to search out the origins of this precious DNA. I have now arrived at an exoplanet destination that looks promising. With luck, I should be able to collect batches of Alien DNA to continue the valuable work of these noble doctors.

Desert Dessert

Announcing a stunning discovery from a secret location on the fringe of the Mojave Desert in Southern California: A perfectly preserved, petrified layered dessert, probably a cream and cinnamon pastry of some type. It is presumed to be a leftover from an epic feast made by god-like beings of a distant geologic era. This matches up well with my theory that supreme entities are responsible for the spectacular red layered geology that is so widespread in the western states of the USA. The fossilized leftovers from their banquets litter the landscapes from California to Utah.
I realize that my theories have been labeled as hair brained ideas of a raving lunatic by the so-called experts. This time, however, I believe that my discovery will at last redeem me. If not, I shall continue to live in the asylum peacefully and make no more fuss . . .

A Whale of a Find

I have made yet another a groundbreaking discovery in a stratum containing enormous fossilized marine life!! In spite of my reputation as a crank paleontologist, I am certain to gain notoriety with this fascinating finding.
Even the casual observer can see the fossilized remains of a baleen whale perfectly preserved in rock, petrified in the act of feeding tens of millions years ago. It seems that plankton feeders grew to unprecedented sizes during this ancient period in the primordial seas of Earth.
Soon excavations will commence and my reputation will finally be secured. Perhaps the ancient whale species will be named after me - Balaenoptera Scottia Maximus.
As usual, I have backed up my outrageous claim with a photograph.
