In the United States we have just celebrated the memory of those who served our country in the armed services. I too honor my father, friends and many generations that preceded them. Yet, I also give merit to those who desire to turn swords to ploughshares, however improbable that dream may be.

Assembled from bits and pieces of a Pleistocene fossil skeleton (I presume), this formidable creature could certainly outrun today's best on the track. I have researched the scientific name (with an embellishment or two), Equus ferus caballenormous , although I prefer to call him, Woody.
