Oaxaca Plaza

The central plaza of Oaxaca is a pleasant place to watch the world go by, seated on a bench. It is bordered by nice shops and hotels and there is a Zocalo in the center surrounded by jacaranda trees and gardens. This photo was taken by a Yashica Electro 35CC and COLOR-YASHINON DX 1:1.8 f=35mm lens with a Pro 52mm (UV) Japan filter using Kodak negative color 135 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop

The more 'modern' structure in the background is the Iglesia San Pablo de Mitla.
