On Pins and Needles

19 Aug 2018 1 2 542
I have been on pins and needles in anticipation of planned journey into the desert parks of Utah and Arizona. Without a doubt, I shall take some sharp photos during my trip. This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera with a Super-Multi-Coated Macro-Takumar/6X7 1:4/135mm lens attached to a #3 Extension tube (56mm) and Tiffen 67mm 15 Orange filter using Ilford Delta100 Pro film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop

Foliage

Spring foliage is delicate, beautiful and flowery. The foliage of a desert Joshua tree is built to withstand the torturous rigors of a harsh desert environment, on the other hand. Pretty, isn't it?
