The temple monument comprises six square platforms topped by three circular platforms and is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. The facts behind it’s abandonment remain a mystery. It is not known when active use of the monument and Buddhist pilgrimage to it ceased. This photo was taken by a Yashica Electro 35CC rangefinder film camera with a COLOR-YASHINON DX 1:1.8 f=35mm lens using Kodak 135 daylight film, the negative scanned by an HP Scanjet G4050 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

In a past lifetime I sailed the Seven Seas (or at least a couple of them). This image was captured while sailing in the Caribbean Sea with a Yashica ELECTRO 35CC. The 35mm negative was scanned with a HP Scanjet G4050 and restored with multiple Photoshop operations.
