Strait Gate and Narrow Way

Although I do not prescribe to any particular religious dogma, I do understand the phrase:
Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life
(a biblical phrase from Matthew 7:14)
- Live a morally upright, honest, and law-abiding life, avoiding immoral or illegal behaviors -
This is a credence that the present leadership of my country has forsaken in the pursuit of personal gain and power over others.
Being a morally upright person can be a bridge linking people.

Designed to thwart an enemy invasion, this military fortification with it's cannon turret is now a place to relax and picnic while watching the marine traffic go in and out of the Golden Gate. May peace forever reign here.

If you are seeking seclusion within sight of a bustling, major metropolis, here is one good option.
Of course, it requires a strenuous descent followed by exhausting ascent later up a steep trail, but with all good things in life, there is no free lunch . . .
