During the Rhodesian period, when this photo was shot, Wankie National Park (now Hwange National Park) was established. It was teeming with all the classic African wildlife. Every continent seems to have a spectacular waterfall which inspires wonderment and awe. So it is with Victoria Falls on the frontier of Zambia and Zimbabwe. There is a thunderous roar as the waters of the Zambezi carve a huge gorge. The mist can be seen from many miles away.
