Having had a very nice, long break I must, firstly, thank all those people that sent me their good wishes for Christmas and the New Year. It is much appreciated. I wish you all a very happy and healthy new year. This is Hastings Pier. Built in 1872 it was substantially destroyed by fire in 2010 but, as indicated by the scaffolding, it is now undergoing restoration and, hopefully, it will be restored to its former glory.
