Kasteel Nijenhuis (Castle Nijenhuis) was first mentioned in 1380. The present building dates back to 1682. Since 1799 the castle is owned and still inhabited by the family Schimmelpenninck.

St. Mary's Chapel (Weldam kapel) - at the Weldam Estate - was built in 1900. Since 1979 the church houses the Anglican Church Twente.

Kasteel Weldam/Castle Weldam is located between Goor and Diepenheim. The present castle was built in 1645 and was expanded with towers in 1897 and 1899.
