Saw these mushrooms a few weeks ago when hiking the Jumpingpound Loop in Kananaskis. Not sure if I've ever seen mushrooms covered in little spines before. There were so many different kinds of fungi growing there in the forest. I was in "seventh heaven"!

I'm so glad I went out a lot last fall after our devastaing floods in the summer, as there were so many fungi everywhere. Hardly seen any this fall.
