I love Sunflowers at every stage of their life, including when they are dried and brown. This seedhead was seen down in Weaselhead - I guess someone had taken it down there from their garden, for the wildlife to enjoy : ) Was out on a walk all morning at Griffith Woods, where we were lucky enough to see the Rattlesnake-plantain Orchid.
