A little splash of pink Primrose colour accepted gratefully from the Conservatory at the Calgary Zoo a few days ago. Goes more than a little way in helping to retain ones sanity during many months of cold, Canadian winter : )

This teeny member of the Primrose family has five deeply notched, pale lilac to pink petals. The stems are less than 12 cm tall and the flowers are 10-20 mm across. I have tried on three occasions to phtoograph these tiny flowers and now finally give up any hope of ever getting a sharp photo, LOL!
