Anne Elliott's photos with the keyword: angles

Spent this morning in Fish Creek Park, walking from Bebo Grove to Shannon Terrace and back. We only saw nine bird species, one of which was a very distant Pileated Woodpecker flying over the treetops. Also nice to see three little Boreal Chickadees and seven Blue Jays. Nothing that resulted in any photos, apart from this ice pattern on the surface of the creek. Temperature was 0C when we started our walk and got up to 9C. The forecast was supposed to be up to 19C this afternoon, LOL, but that sure didn't happen.

It's only -8C (windchill -16C) today, but it is yet another dull, gloomy day. Took a few brightly coloured flower shots at the Zoo this morning, when I visited the new Conservatory with a few friends, but haven't had a chance to go through them yet. So, I'm posting this image, taken on a cold, stay-at-home kind of day. I guess it's another of those "What is it?" photos. When I did that last time, the right answer appeared in the very first comment box (from Rebecca, Red~Star), LOL.

Apart from the park gates and these railings, there was no colour to be seen today. Quite beautiful, really, but I would have preferred a blue sky for my photos :)!
