Wow, what a game! Thanks for such a challenging Olympic hockey game this afternoon. We had some of the best players in the world to keep us Canadians on our toes every second of every period. Just felt so badly for you all when I saw the disappointed faces - could so very easily have been the Canadian players who were in that position. Thanks for a great, great game!

There are three American White Pelicans at the Calgary Zoo, this male and two females. They swim on a small pond and share the outdoor, wooded area with Deer, ducks and Wild Turkeys. Really a lovely little area for them. I do see Pelicans in the wild, but often at a great distance, except for down near the Bow River Weir in the city.
