This rather fine Swainson's Hawk (juvenile) flew on to the roof at Inglewood Bird Sanctuary yesterday morning, when I went with a group of friends for a morning walk. I don't go to this area very often, partly because it just seems like too far to drive and I never used to see much, if anything, when I used to go on my own.
