Another beautiful day today, but I must stay home and get a few things done. Hope I don't run out of bright, vibrantly coloured images to post by the time winter returns with a vengeance. Saw these beautiful Poppies growing in the garden at the Calgary Zoo on 23rd August 2011. It's 12C this afternoon, which is crazy for a mid-winter's day! Forecast is for temperatures between 0C and 8C for the next two weeks.
