A photo taken yesterday, when a very kind friend invited me along for a day east of the city, looking for Snowy Owls. One distant Snowy just south of Highway 22X and another one - a pure white male - east of the city. No photos of them, but we were lucky to find this Rough-legged Hawk at the top of a tree.
