Mid-September, I had just about finished a walk at Shannon Terrace, at the western end of Fish Creek Park, looking for fungi, of course : ) I noticed a beautiful deer right by the Learning Centre there and it was amusing when she slowly disappeared around the corner and then a few seconds later, her head peered around the corner to see what I was doing. After stopping to watch her, I happened to look down at the ground and noticed this cluster of mushrooms at the base of a tree, with a few more nearby. Not sure, but I think they are Common Coprinus / Coprinopsis atramentaria.
