Aspen Bolete mushroom

I'm not sure if this mushroom is the same as the one with the much larger cap that I posted the other day. If it is the same, then it is a Leccinum sp 'Scaber Stalk', growing in Aspen woodland - thanks, Doug, for the ID : ) They really were rather fine specimens - and a joy to behold : )
Little yellow mushroom

Not too thrilling a photo, but I don't often come across yellow mushrooms. This one was growing in Bragg Creek Provincial Park or Natural Area on 20th August.
Morel

A friend found solitary Morel mushrooms in three different locations on a walk in North Weaselhead a couple of days ago. This one was the best shape of the three. Unfortunately, the surroundings were far from photogenic and the sky was dark and ominous that evening, so most of my photos came out blurry - wonderfully, though, the rain held off until I was in my car driving back home. Another grey, rainy day today : (

Early August last year, we saw this mushroom while botanizing the Bentz Lake Natural Area, north west of the city. It really was a beautiful specimen, with lovely cap colour and white stalk.
We had yet another gorgeous, mild day today, with lots of sunshine - unfortunately, had to spend the afternoon indoors for my volunteer shift : ) I did get out for a walk yesterday morning, at Carburn Park. I really need to get back into the habit of walking. This winter has been pretty brutal and, most of the time, I just couldn't face all the snow and bitterly cold temperatures. Consequently, it is now extremely painful to walk. Once spring arrives, I will be back to doing more walks, but it will be even more painful if I don't start getting out more during the remaining winter months. I think snow is in our forecast for tonight.
Lonely little mushroom

Not the greatest photo, but there was something about this and several other similar mushrooms that appealed to me : ) Seen at Brown-Lowery Provincial Park on 17th August.

Just one of the mushrooms we found on a hike along the Marston Creek trail on 3rd August. Can't provide an ID, but I don't usually see one that is curled up like this.
Yesterday's beauty

Yesterday, I was out of the house with two friends from 7:00 a.m. till 10:15 p.m., botanizing the Snakes Head Natural Area, north west of Calgary. There were hardly any fungi there, but luckily friend David spotted this beauty right near the beginning of our walk : ) This happily reduced my craving to see mushrooms all day, LOL. Then, on the way home, we walked and botanized a nature trail on the property of Dave and Bernie Amonson, near Water Valley. We had planned on calling in at a restaurant somewhere for supper, but were kindly invited to have barbecued hotdogs by Dave and Bernie instead. A very enjoyable day - it rained first thing and then on the way home, but we were very lucky that the rain kept away while we were walking.
Oh, so cute

We found this little mushroom on 2nd July, when a handful of us went out to botanize the forest at the Mountainview Sports and Handicapped Centre, near Sundre, north of the city. I just love the pattern and shape of this little beauty : )
