This is the female Snowy Owl at the Calgary Zoo. She and her mate share a small enclosure near the Tigers. The last few months, when I thought she had either died or been moved elsewhere, she has (for some very strange reason) adopted the "roof" as her new hidden "home". Maybe the pair had an argument - with long-lasting results, LOL!
