Ice crystals covered everything on Saturday morning - fences, bushes, grasses. It created a glorious winter wonderfland, especially down near the river. We walked along the Bow River's eastern edge from Burnsmead to the Highway 22X bridge - by the time we retraced our steps, the frost had sadly more or less disappeared. It was unbelievably pretty while it lasted : ) The temperature that morning was -7C to +6C - very pleasant for walking.
