One of the majestic scenes that I photographed through a dirty window on a moving bus on 30 January 2008, when I went for the day with a group of friends from a 50+ group I used to belong to, to Lake Louise (Banff National Park). They were holding the annual Ice Carving Competition at the Lake, so we wanted to wander round and admire the beautiful ice sculptures. I remember it being a bitterly cold day.

I think this is my only photo on Flickr that is framed. Thought I'd try out fd's Flickrtoys new "matte". It makes the original photo smaller, of course, and I'm not sure that I like that. Anyway, I thought the snow-covered rock formations were quite interesting.

One of the majestic scenes that I photographed through a dirty window on a moving bus three days ago. I went for the day with a group of friends to Lake Louise (in Banff National Park) to see this year's Ice Sculptures. My Image Stabilization worked really well on that bumpy bus, LOL!

The sky was blue on Wednesday, at least for part of the day, when I went by bus with friends to Lake Louise in Banff National Park, to see the annual display of Ice Sculptures. Most of my scenery photos were taken through a dirty window on a bumpy bus, so I was surprised to see that a lot did turn out sharp enough. Love this towering range!
