I can't remember what these flowers are called - you can tell I don't garden! Anyway, I loved the burst of yellow in the centre, surrounded by all those deep pink petals. I saw this at the Green Gate garden centre yesterday, when I called in to ask if I could take some photos. This centre has such a huge variety of plants, including all sorts of roses outside. Our weather has not been good recently, so many of the roses were not at their best, but I managed to find enough to satisfy my photographic urge.

Happy Father's Day to everyone who celebrates this special day today! Every day SHOULD be thought of as Father's Day, just as each day should be thought of as Mother's Day! I took this photo, along with a lot of others, on a visit to Green Gate, my local Garden Centre, on Friday afternoon. I miss my usual black backround but I had plain concrete for this particular background. Thank you to the people at Green Gate for allowing me to take photos for my own personal use.
