Cold and windy, dull and grey!

What a difference a day makes! Today, the sun was shining, the sky was blue and the birds seemed to sense that maybe spring is around the corner. That is, after a few more snowfalls!

Took this photo about two and a half years ago. Even though it's not all that sharp, it amuses me to see this Grey Squirrel's white "gloves".

My usual little female, feathers blown by quite a strong, cold wind this afternoon.

BLUE SKY!! The birds were acting differently this afternoon - those little Chickadees were faster than ever and I ended up with quite a few photos of beautiful blue sky and sharp branches - but no bird. Almost impossible to catch them today. It just felt so good to see blue sky.

This sparkling "landscape" is proof of the high winds we have been experiencing very recently. Rather like a frozen desert.

I STILL haven't been able to get the sort of photo I would like to get of these little birds. I swear they fly faster each time I go to the park!
