Anne Elliott's photos with the keyword: Brazilian Candles

I don't know the name of this rather unusual plant. All I know is that, for some reason, I'm finding it hard to get a decent, sharp image. This is the best of the few I took at the Calgary Zoo yesterday, using flash. van swearingen says: "I think it's Pavonia multiflora, or similar, a/k/a Brazilian Candles." Thanks so much for the ID!

I'm not sure what this plant is, but I will have to go back to it next time I go to the Calgary Zoo's Conservatory and try and get a better, sharper photo!
