These are the seedpods of the Amur Maple tree, growing at Shannon Terrace, Fish Creek Park. Didn't notice the tiny spider until I downloaded my photos : )

Simple, but I liked the colours and texture of this bunch of Manitoba Maple "keys" (helicopters, etc.). Can't remember the scientific name for them.
