Hope you all had a very happy day and are now relaxing, full of turkey and stuffing! Came across this little owl decoration in one of the stores and knew it was meant for me, LOL! Next day, I was lucky enough to see the uncommon Northern Pygmy-owl. I have a feeling that I might just keep this owl hanging somewhere all year round : ).

A few of the decorations hanging on my little four-foot artificial tree. I have to admit that the decorations stay on it all year round and I just keep it in my basement.

Happened to notice that I had included a copper decoration that has a heart pattern punched into it. A heart for you, Jan!

Happy Halloween tomorrow, everyone! Have a safe and fun time, if you do celebrate. Here in this city, many children now go to various Community Centres or shopping malls to celebrate, rather than going from door to door. Much safer - not to mention much wamer if the weather is cold. We had another snowfall last night - of course, it's Halloween!!

I was lucky today that the two Bald Eagles at the Calgary Zoo were more at eye level than high up in a tree or on their nesting platform. Lucky, too, that they were standing close together.

Just a reminder, everyone, that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My heart goes out to anyone who is battling this disease, and their families and friends! Thank you, fd, for enabling me to make this poster.

Just wanted to wish all of you who are mothers, a very happy Mother's Day on Sunday. I'm not sure which countries celebrate this important day on Sunday, but I think every day should be Mother's Day, so celebrate anyway!
