Another photo from my archives, taken on 17 June 2011, during a day of botanizing on Keith Logan's land, about 2 miles south of Water Valley (NW of Calgary). He has feeders in the garden area of his property and has some interesting birds come to feed. This is a Sparrow species that I hear when I'm out in natural areas, but rarely see or see well enough to photograph, so thought I'd add this capture to my photostream, even though I really don't really like taking feeder shots. Everyone loves the song of this little bird - always a joy to hear.
