In person, this white bird was striking and stood out right away. In color, less so, and in black and white I think it takes a while to spot him! Taken in front of Clyde Butcher's Big Cypress Gallery.

Some sort of way station along US 41/Tamiami Trail, Southwest Florida.

Initially shot on Fuji Velvia, and it was pretty like that too. But I think I like this better.

I shot this in color, on slide film, but wasn't in love with the results. Converting to BW gave me some nice options, though!
