Explored! Thank you very much :-)
One from the archives where I got a bit carried away with filters :-))
The track that comes to mind is "Train Leaves Here This Morning". It was written by Gene Clark and Bernie Leadon. It was recorded by The Eagles and featured on their debut album from 1972. Anything by The Eagles is my fave but the version by Dillard and Clark from their 1968 album "The Fantastic Expedition of Dillard & Clark" is my absolute fave version :-)
Also, the photo (shown in the video) on the cover of the vinyl copy of the album is one of my all time fave photos :-) I still have the vinyl album :-)

Explored! ~ Thank you very much :-)))
I thought this was a bit of a 'mystery train' cos it didn't appear to have a name. But, I guess 'D80104' is its name :-)
But, sticking with my original thought means I can link this shot to "Mystery Train" by the Band with Paul Butterfield.....methinks :-)
Duet vocal with Levon Helm.

"City of New Orleans" was written by Steve Goodman describing a train ride from Chicago to New Orleans on the Illinois Central Railroad's City of New Orleans . The closest I can get to New Orleans is my shot of a train in Swanage railway station :-)
The best known version of the song is probably the one by Arlo Guthrie but I am keeping this version for a future post :-)
