HARMONY
I found this challenge very difficult and after a lot of trial and error I decided to try colour harmony :-)
The colour wheel was invented in 1666 by Isaac Newton, who mapped the colour spectrum onto a circle. The colour wheel is the basis of colour theory, because it shows the relationship between colours. Colours that look good together are called a colour harmony. You can use a colour wheel to find colour harmonies by using the rules of colour combinations. Colour combinations determine the relative positions of different colours in order to find colours that create a pleasing effect.
There are two types of colour wheel. The RYB or red, yellow, blue colour wheel is typically used by artists. Then there is the RGB, or red, green and blue colour wheel, which is designed for online use.
There are 'Complementary Colours' that are opposite each other on the colour wheel.
There are 'Analogous Colours' that are next to each other on the colour wheel.
There is a 'Triadic Colour Scheme' that uses colours that are evenly spaced around the colour wheel.
There is the 'Split-Complementary Colour Scheme' that is a variation of the 'Complementary Colour Scheme'. In addition to the base colour, it uses the two colours adjacent to its complement.
There is the 'Rectangle or Tetradic Colour Scheme' that uses four colours arranged into two complementary pairs.
Then there is the 'Square Colour Scheme' that is similar to the 'Rectangle' one, but with all four colours spaced evenly around the colour circle.
Now, of course, I knew all of this :-) …................Well, okay, I didn't really know much if any of this. I got it all from the Internet :-))
For my photo I decided to use Velcro Fasteners and attempted to use the 'Square Colour Scheme'. This 'Colour Scheme' gave me red, blue, green (not quite the order of my colours!) and yellow-orange! But, I didn't have a Velcro Fastener in yellow-orange. Therefore, yellow it is :-))
And, for 'Sight and Sound' I have chosen "Colours of My Life" by The Seekers.

TAKE A PHOTO AND THEN POST PROCESS IT USING YOUR FAVOURITE PROGRAM. BE SURE TO SHOW THE ORIGINAL UNPROCESSED IMAGE
In 'Affinity Photo' I removed the colourful bollards, tried to correct some of the distortion (more work needed), made a small levels adjustment, increased the colour saturation by about 5%, made a slight crop and sharpened the image. Then, in Photoshop Elements I added a black pencil border and reduced the file size.
p.s. Perhaps the bollards added extra colour to the scene. But, I found them a bit distracting so they had to go !!! :-))

USE THE EDGE OF AN IMAGE TO "CUT" YOUR SUBJECT IN HALF
This sculpture is of Sir Thomas Gresham. It is one of some 16 sculptures in the 'Temple of British Worthies' in Stowe Landscape Gardens. Sir Thomas Gresham founded the Royal Exchange in the City of London. He was also known for 'Gresham's Law' (stated simply as: "Bad money drives out good")
I figured a proper eye was needed so I downloaded a Royalty Free eye from the Internet and pasted it into my image :-)
And, for 'Sight and Sound' "Half A Man" by Randy Newman seems appropriate :-)

Sadly this is not my car and it is not my house either :-))
Don't know why it says photo was taken on 17 May 'cos it was actually taken on 13 May.
And, for 'Sight and Sound' I have chosen a song about a "455 Rocket" that appears to be about an Oldsmobile V8 :-) But, the car in my photo is a Honda. Anyway, no matter, 'cos the link here is a 'car' :-)
