DROSTE EFFECT
I used the Droste Effect filter in GIMP Photo Software :-) ipernity says I took the photo on 29 November 2019. Nope!! I actually took the photo on 27 November 2019. On the 29th I added an 'Art Border' and ipernity has clearly decided to use this date :-))
And, for 'Sight and Sound' ~
There seem to be quite a lot of songs about time but one of my all-time faves is "Time Passes By" by Kathy Mattea from her 1991 album of the same name. It was written by John Vezner (Kathy's husband) and Susan Longacre.
I have loved Kathy's music since early 1990 when I bought her album "Untasted Honey". This was when it was on cassette!! :-)) We have been so very fortunate to have seen Kathy in Concert a number of times over the years when she has visited the UK. In fact we saw her back on 29 January 2019 when Kathy played at The Stables, Wavendon, Milton Keynes :-)

CLOSE-UP IN COLOUR
SUBJECT IS YOUR CHOICE BUT GET UP CLOSE AND IN FOCUS
I have quite a few watches and I thought a watch would be a suitable subject for this week's challenge. My first attempts trying four different watches were disappointing. However, when I tried this watch I seemed to have a little bit more success :-)
And, for 'Sight and Sound' I have chosen a slightly obscure 'Time' link which is
"33, 45, 78 (Record Time)" by Kathy Mattea. Kathy is one of my all-time favourite singers. Kathy was born in South Charleston, West Virginia and has visited the UK on a number of occasions. We were lucky enough to see Kathy a couple of times in the 90's and about 10 years ago Kathy played at The Stables, Wavendon, Milton Keynes. The Stables is only about 20 miles away. Then just recently, on 29 January 2019, Kathy came back to play at The Stables.
A magical evening. Thank you, Kathy :-)

This Oxford window, that has been given a bit of a Photoshop makeover, could be in 'University College' :-)
It is not 'My Window" but a link to "At My Window" by Townes Van Zandt and Kathy Mattea is goin' to be my tenuous 'Sight and Sound' choice for today :-)
I don't know how I have managed to miss out on this musical gem but thanks to 'Sight and Sound' I will now be adding the album to my collection :-)

ip says this shot was taken on 12 Aug 2016. Nope, it is actually from way, way back in the Archives :-)
The first verse of "Goin' Gone" is ~
There's a Lighthouse in the Harbour
Giving guidance with its light
But I had no-one to return to
As I wandered through the night
This song written by Patrick Alger, Bill Dale & Fred Koller features on Kathy Mattea's album "Untasted Honey" from 1987. One of my all-time fave albums. I still have the cassette version, a vinyl copy and, of course, the cd :-)
This is St Peter Port Harbour, Guernsey and if you look very cosely the blob in the distance is a Lighthouse at the entrance to the Harbour. So, my link is complete methinks :-))
