Last Tuesday Helen and I went on a Christmas shopping expedition to High Wycombe!! I only had my phone with me but thought I should look out for some Christmassy type shots. The Christmas decorations here were a bit sparse and it was so wet that not even the children wanted to ride in the tea-cups :-) With Christmas on the way one of my fave Christmas albums comes to mind as in "Have Yourself A Tractors Christmas" by, surprisingly, The Tractors :-) One of my fave tracks on the album is "Jingle My Bells". We haven't had much snow this winter. And, when we did have a little I stayed in the warm :-) So, I am uploading a shot from 2013 taken with my phone. I did some editing in Photoshop Elements......there were some steps here but my editing expertise has made them disappear :-)

I don't normally do Tribute Bands :-) But, last evening was totally different!! We went to The Stables @ Wavendon to see 'The Simon & Garfunkel Story'. All tickets were sold! Massive thanks to - Dean Elliott - Paul Simon Jonny Smart - Art Garfunkel Murray Gardiner - Electric Guitar, Keyboards Bass - Leon Camfield Drums - Josh Powell Not just breathtaking music but anecdotes about their partnership and wonderful photos/film of that era projected onto a screen behind the guys. A magical and emotional evening from start to finish :-) It is almost impossible to say which are my fave Simon & Garfunkel songs but - “Homeward Bound”, “The Boxer”, “America”, “Old Friends”, “A Hazy Shade of Winter” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water” are at the top of my list :-) The guys absolutely nailed “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and at the end of this song everyone was on their feet :-) Added to ~ Soundtrack to Life Listen here ~ Bridge Over Troubled Water ~ Simon & Garfunkel p.s. my attempt at a montage :-)

I thought it was time to upload a shot taken with my phone :-) Falling behind at the minute!

NOT icm.....this time :-))) I applied ‘motion blur’ to the original shot taken wth my phone. But, I was thinking about goin’ back to try icm! However, I think that may be a little difficult. These towers are surrounded by high wire fencing, trees and dense undergrowth!! I had to fight my way through the dense undergrowth to get the original shot :-) I think it would be difficult to find a viewpoint where I could move the camera about without it smashing into tree branches!! Also, there were a number of security cameras and me being caught on film waving a camera about might attract unwanted attention from security guards me fears :-)))
