Explored! Thank you very much :-) SATURDAY SELF-CHALLENGE 18 MAY 2019 SELECTIVE COLOUR Sadly this is not my car and it is not my house either :-)) Don't know why it says photo was taken on 17 May 'cos it was actually taken on 13 May. And, for 'Sight and Sound' I have chosen a song about a "455 Rocket" that appears to be about an Oldsmobile V8 :-) But, the car in my photo is a Honda. Anyway, no matter, 'cos the link here is a 'car' :-) Added to Sight and Sound : Pictures & Music ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ Listen here ~ 455 Rocket ~ Kathy Mattea

I've been trying to find a shot to go with "I Found Someone" by Cher. It is gonna have to be this shot from the archives methinks :-) Added to ~ Sight and Sound ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Listen here ~ I Found Someone ~ Cher

~ Explored! ~ Thank you very much :-))) Whilst I was busy searching YouTube for music to go with one of my shots of 'The Shard' I suddenly saw this track by Donovan and thought “I have a shot in the archives where I went to town on mellow yellow 'colour popping'. And, guess what? Correct! I have found the shot taken in the Paris Metro very many moons ago :-) I see from Wikipedia that on 14 April 2012 Donovan was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame :-) Apparently, the song was rumoured to be about smoking dried banana skins, which was believed to be a hallucinogenic drug in the 1960's. I don't particularly like bananas unless they are cut up with cream and sugar so there's no chance of me being interested in the skins :-) Added to ~ Soundtrack to Life Listen here ~ Mellow Yellow ~ Donovan

Mick's super shot of 'Cookie' www.ipernity.com/doc/631051/34011387 reminded me of the effectiveness of colour popping and Mick rightly said there are peeps out there who do absolutely mind-blowing selectives! I don't think I have sufficient patience to do the complicated ones so I figured out that the wheel in this shot ought to be fairly straightforward to tackle :-) Umm........ok........up to a point, but the wheel being partly obscured did try my patience a little :-) Think that next time I will choose a shot where the whole wheel is visible :-)
