Racing in the Street

The song that comes to mind here is Bruce Springsteen's "Racing in the Street". One of my all-time fave songs. But, on this occasion, I have chosen a cover version by Serena Ryder 'cos I absolutely love Serena's version :-) Added to Sight and Sound : Pictures & Music ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ Listen here ~ Racing in the Street ~ Serena Ryder Also, love the understated guitar playing by the guy. I was going to say that I couldn't see him being credited in this YouTube post which would be very wrong! However, looking at the comments there is mention of a John Kengla. Need to check him out!

Explored! Thank you very much :-) HAPPY FENCE FRIDAY, ALL :-) I am also adding this photo to: Sight and Sound : Pictures & Music Another one of my obscure 'Library' links......the building on the left is the Radcliffe Camera that is part of the Bodleian Library. Libraries have books and "Paperback Writer" comes to mind :-) I decided upon a version by Herb Pedersen from his 1976 album "Southwest" rather than the classic original by The Beatles :-) ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Listen here ~ Paperback Writer ~ Herb Pedersen

I thought of "Venus in Blue Jeans" here and it will have to be "Venus in Blue Jeans times 2" for 'Sight and Sound" methinks :-) Added to ~ Sight and Sound ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Listen here ~ "Venus in Blue Jeans times 2" ~ Jimmy Clanton Maurice (Happy Snapper) says "Theme song from Blues Bros, Rollin Rollin Rollin springs to mind!!" I have found a link to Rollin, Rollin, Rollin Absolutely brilliant :-))))))) Cheers very much, Maurice.

The brightly lit building is Brasenose College. On the left is the old entrance to the Radcliffe Camera. And, red is this year's colour I reckon :-)
