Happy Fence Friday, All. Part of the grounds adjacent to Ascott House in the hamlet of Ascott near Wing in Buckinghamshire, England. I've been trying to work out what is on the hills in the far distance :-) I think it could be Whipsnade Zoo. To be sure I guess I could visit the zoo and then look to see if I can see this fence in my photo :-)

I am hoping this may be part of a magnolia tree. If so, I can link my photo to "Sugar Magnolia" by the Grateful Dead. Gretchen Peters sings - I think I need to lay low for a while Stare at the Gulf of Mexico for a while Tell 'em all where they can go for a while I think I need to lay low I guess this lady and gentleman could be staring at the Gulf of Mexico :-) They are actually looking in the direction of Whipsnade but it's possibly similar to the Gulf of Mexico :-)) We were so fortunate to see Gretchen 'Live in Concert' at The Stables, Wavendon back in May. But, why oh why did it take me 20 years to go to one of her concerts!! Now have all of her albums :-) "Lay Low" comes from her 2018 album "Dancing with the Beast". Thank you very much :-) SATURDAY SELF-CHALLENGE 7 JULY 2018 "SUMMER, FAVOURITE ASPECT OF THE SEASON" One of my favourite aspects of summer is the opportunity to take photos of Water Lilies :-) But, most of my shots seem to finish up in the Recycle Bin! The best location is, probably, the 'Lily Pond' within the grounds of Ascott House. Not too far away from where we live :-) There is also a risk of toppling into the pond :-)
