"Let The Big Horse Run"

One of my fairly obscure links for 'Sight and Sound' follows :-) John Stewart recorded "Let The Big Horse Run" about 'Secretariat'. This track is on his 1975 album "Wingless Angels". This very old photo is, clearly, of a horse :-) Added to ~ Sight and Sound : Pictures & Music ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Listen here ~ Let The Big Horse Run ~ John Stewart

Explored! Thank you very much :-) HAPPY FENCE FRIDAY, ALL I'm also adding my photo to 'Sight and Sound' because this is a horsebox and the song that came to mind was "Wild Horse Road" by John Stewart :-) Before John passed away he regularly visited the UK. I have always regretted only seeing him once 'Live in Concert'. Added to ~ Sight and Sound : Pictures & Music ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Listen here ~ Wild Horse Road ~ John Stewart

I'm pretty sure this was taken in Highcliffe so I'm sticking with this thought :-) Anyway, back on 3 April I do remember there was a chilly wind blowin'. This, of course, leads to "Chilly Winds" by John Stewart :-)) .....one of my fave tracks on John's 1973 album "Cannons in the Rain". "Chilly Winds" was written by John Stewart and John Phillips of the Mamas & Papas. Added to ~ Sight and Sound: Pictures & Music ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Listen here ~ Chilly Winds ~ John Stewart

'Tis the season of tenuous 'Sight and Sound' links.....methinks :-)) This is the 'Earth Sciences' Building in Oxford. There is a John Stewart compilation album called ~ "Earth Rider - The Essential John Stewart 1964-1979". From this album I have chosen one of my fave tracks and that is "Willard". This track features on John's album of the same name from 1970. Added to ~ Sight and Sound ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Listen here ~ Willard ~ John Stewart

I still have my vinyl copy and, of course, the cd as well :-) Arnie Moore - bass Jonathan Douglas - organ, congas, piano Loren Newkirk - piano, organ Jim Gordon - drums Michael Stewart - rhythm guitar Dan Dugmore - pedal steel guitar, electric guitar Mike Settle - vocals Denny Brooks - vocals Buffy Ford - vocals ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Listen here ~ July, You're A Woman ~ John Stewart
