Yesterday I went up on the hill with the dogs, and as I passed a tall Madrone tree, I heard a "Yoooo Hoooo..." from the tree. "What the?" I thought to myself and turned to look. Why...it was a whole family of mushrooms, on the side of the tree at eye level!! WOW!! I told them I'd be back the next morning, and so I was! The four of them were so happy to see me, they would hardly hold still for their first picture! Aren't they a beautiful family?! Diana, Princess of Wales (1 July 1961 – 31 August 1997), was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, whom she married on 29 July 1981. She was also well known for her fund-raising work for international charities, and an eminent celebrity of the late 20th century. Her wedding to Charles, heir to the British throne and those of the then 18 Commonwealth realms, was held at St Paul's Cathedral and seen by a global television audience of over 750 million. While married she bore the titles Princess of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, Duchess of Rothesay, Countess of Chester and Baroness of Renfrew. The marriage produced two sons, the princes William and Harry, who became second and third in line to the British throne. Wikipedia: Princess Diana

Today I flew home from San Francisco, where I spent 5 full days and two partial days with my dad. (I even got to see my oldest brother, which was a treat!) It was a wonderful visit and so nice to see my father and to help with our ongoing quilt photography project. I miss him already and look forward to visiting again as soon as I can! Love you dad!!! As much fun as I had with my dad, I was really, REALLY missing my family back home in Oregon, and this sight is what I've been dreaming about every day that I've been away. I love you all, my dear husband Steve, my darling Pumpkin, my silly Zoe girl, sweetheart Moosie, and our wonderful Molly Moo! :) How great it is to be back with you all!! Michael J.
