This picture shows a bit of the chaos which happened every single morning during the entire month of July. The garden hummed with bees, they were everywhere! I never saw so many at once! They are still visiting every day, but there aren't as many flowers now that the poppies have peaked. What a show it's been! I got this picture a few days ago when I was looking at the beautiful Snowberry flowers down by our gate. These blossoms attract bees and other insects like crazy!

A couple of weeks ago, Steve and I visited our friend's property and I spent the day happily taking pictures. This honey bee was one of dozens buzzing around these purple flowers!
