2 more pictures in notes above! :) The smoke from the wildfires in southern Oregon has reduced a great deal from the rain we've had, and this morning when I went out, I was captivated by the warm glowing light over our meadows. I love the way the sun makes ordinary grass look when you see it at just the right angle! Anatole France (pronounced: [anatɔl fʁɑ̃s]; born François-Anatole Thibault, (16 April 1844 – 12 October 1924) was a French poet, journalist, and novelist. He was born in Paris, and died in Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire. He was a successful novelist, with several best-sellers. Ironic and skeptical, he was considered in his day the ideal French man of letters.
