2 more pictures in notes above ! :) This afternoon, the dogs and I went down to the gate and I looked for photos as we went along. I wandered over to one of our blackberry bushes and noticed that the sun was making some of the thorns glow. I had a good time looking for thorns the were in the right position, and after looking through my different sets of images, I ended up picking this one for the multiple thorns and the interesting bokeh and light behind! Today I was going to feature a prickly flower called a Spikeweed for my 365, but as I left the house, I saw this wasp on a leaf in a very aggressive stance, its wings held out rigidly as it stood its ground. I wondered where its nest was but I wasn't about to go looking around too closely! I had to set my ISO up quite high on this image and wasn't sure I'd be able to remove all the noise, but as you can see, Topaz DeNoise comes through yet again! This morning I went down to our seasonal pond to take pictures of the ice that's forming on the water. However, I started going crazy taking pictures of frosty things poking through the ice, and then I found this grass topped with frost, the sun sparkling on the ice and making this incredible bokeh! This afternoon I decided to wander around our meadow and see what I could find. Overhead, storm clouds rolled by, darkening the sky with forboding threats of rain. I want the rain but not when I'm out taking pictures! :D I found lots of subjects including some caterpillars, some beetles and bugs, and plenty of flowers too. But my pick of the day was an easy win, a tiny flax bud with blond grass seeds in a soft bokeh background.
