Even though this mushroom has seen better days, it's still beautiful and very interesting to look at! I found this guy back in November 2013 in our lower forest.

[best appreciated at full size against black] I found this group down in our moss and granite valley, and when I saw them, I said softly, "Awwww...look at the old folks..."
