You can also find me on Facebook ! Our little parrot, Pumpkin, is the silliest, cutest, most playful companion I've ever had! She loves to run after little balls like this green one, grab them, and throw them onto the floor! As they fall, she turns her head at an angle to watch, and is always extremely delighted when Steve or I pick the ball up and toss it for her to chase again! Her favorite toys have bells inside of them. She loves to shake them furiously before flinging them through the air and hopefully...on the floor! Much cackling and happiness ensues! :D Pumpkin has a wonderful sense of humor and finds hilarity in so many things, but especially loves to watch the dogs as they are being washed. This activity combines a favorite sound, water splashing, and what looks like a wonderful punishment for those horrible creatures, and she spends the entire time laughing her head off and throwing pieces of bread at their heads! :D She's just too cute! I couldn't resist putting up a second picture of Pumpkin with her ball! It shows more of her goofy, playful personality and I thought you might enjoy it too! Explored on March 11, 2014. I got a lot of really cute pictures of Pumpkin playing with one of her toys today. Caiques are known as the "Clowns of the Parrot World", and it's true. I've shared my life with 3 Caiques now, and have known several others...they are all extremely playful, silly, goofy, and funny birds, all of whom have great senses of humor and are always up for something hilarious! :) Explored on March 12, 2014. Many notes above full of fun and frolic! :D This morning when I went out with my camera to get my Picture of the Day, I took the dogs with me and had a great time watching them run around and play. All three of them were in high spirits, and even Molly--who doesn't usually bother with Zoe and Moosie's games--joined in for the fun and games! :) With such silliness going on, I thought it would be a great opportunity to take pictures of them!

About a month ago, Zoe took her favorite tennis ball on our walk, but at one point she dropped it at the edge of our frozen pond, where it rolled out onto the ice. Oh, that was a very sad panda!! I kept an eye on the ball, and yesterday I finally found it bobbing at the edge of the pond. I called Zoe over and when she saw her ball, she got very excited and cautiously scooped it up. Suddenly, all was right with the world again!! We went up to the house and I got my camera and spent the next 10 minutes tossing it for her to chase and fetch while I clicked away! I had such fun taking these pictures, I kept looking to see if I got anything good and couldn't stop laughing! This set of pictures is my very best pet portraiture to date in my opinion because I think I've totally nailed Zoe's personality!

Steve and I celebrated our 4th year wedding anniversary a few days ago, so we went out to see a movie (Moneyball, it was great!). Afterwards, Steve saw one of those silly photo booths and dragged me in for some fun! As you can see, we had a great time! As you can also see, the quality of the printing for these photo booths has decended into the darkest pits of Hades! WOW...we couldn't believe how awful the quality was. The paper was thin and crappy, the images aren't even full color, and the resolution, exposure, EVERYTHING, is so horrible as to be laughable. However...the pictures turned out cute anyway! Just imagine if the quality was even a little bit better! I'll be posting pictures a little bit later, but until now, this will have to do!
