(+1 in a note) A few years ago, Steve and I went to the one of the classic car shows during Medford Cruise week, and we met a friend at a restaurant beforehand. I was trying out our new 50mm lens and found lots of fun things to photograph in the cafe, including this lamp! In fact, I featured a group of these lamps in another image I posted a while back in this project, which you can see by moving your cursor over the upper left of this picture.

Steve and I met up with a friend at a cafe in June 2013 before going on a photo outing. It was the first time I got to use our new 50mm lens, and I soon discovered how fun it was to take pictures with! In fact, I couldn't stop! While we waited for our orders to arrive, I found myself clicking away at everything. But then...I heard eerie sci-fi music (ok, ok, the Twilight music was just in my head) and looked up to see a bunch of UFO's floating in mid-air all over the cafe! AMAZING!! The cool thing was that the lamps were hung on thin wire that didn't show up in the pictures, so they appear to be hovering! How cool is that?! :D
