Color contrasts much? That's what happens when you take pictures between 11:00am and 2:00pm!! :D It's not always what you're looking for but if you know it's the situation, you can do something with it! :D YAY! This image was taken at Seven Oaks Farm, in Central Point, Oregon.

When I saw this, I just about fell over. Nature, left to its own devices, brings us the most beautiful sights, don't you agree? This image was taken on Saturday, November 12, 2100.

Sitting on the side of the tracks near the entrance to Tunnel 13 was this axle with set of wheels. I have seen a picture of this with the other axle intact, sitting on the tracks, but I guess someone decided to make off with one set. A shame, but still an interesting image! One of the fun things about this photography trip was the SNOW! We haven't seen any since about May or June, so it was lovely to see it again! Since I was born and raised in San Francisco, snow will always be something special to me! This image was taken on Saturday, November 12, 2100.

Here's another view of the cool interior of Tunnel 13. One of the people in our group, Andy Spliethof, pointed out that where the tunnel was "ribbed", it was much quieter. He was right! The echoes inside were mostly absent where the ceiling was contoured, and bounced off every surface where the ceiling was just smoothed. This image was taken on Saturday, November 12, 2100.
