Apparently the skylined rock is unnamed. This is the main Sierra Nevada crest, in the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness near the Highland Lakes; the high point is just over 10K ft. I'd thought the rock might be a Pleistocene glacial erratic deposited by sheer chance on the main ridge, but a telephoto view indicates it's actually a jutting piece of the bedrock (inset!)!
