And there is a _lot_ of dirt road to cover! At (misnamed) Lava Beds Camp by Eagle Rock Spring, Pershing County, Nevada.

View northward from near Eagle Rock Spring, in the so-called "Lava Beds", Pershing County, Nevada. In fact "Lava Beds" is a misnomer--the rock is heavily jointed granite that weathers into knobs, spires, hollows, caves, and even the occasional arch. I have no idea how the name got applied!
