This anomalous depression has been called a meteorite crater, and is even so called on the USGS quadrangle map. (And on Google maps!) But it's not established by any means. Looking northwesterly. Other views are in the insets, including a vehicle for scale.

The name was not drawn from a hat! ;) A volcanic explosion crater (maar) in central Oregon, about 30 miles south of Bend, off Oregon state route 31.
