Pink Cliffs/Virgin River Rim, Utah. Cascade Falls is an outlet for Navajo Lake. The water has found its way thru fissures and caves in the ridge of Wasatch Formation to the south, the Pink Cliffs, to drop directly into the drainage of the Virgin River, above Zion National Park. The orange-and-white weathering Wasatch Formation is also what Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks are eroded into, so the resemblance is not accidental! The inset shows the falls itself, looking straight down from the observation platform.

Except they're more orange in this light... Off the Cascade Falls trail, Utah, USA. The cliffs are eroded into the Wasatch Formation, which also forms Bryce and Cedar Breaks.
