Xanthium spp. Another of my least favorite plants--the burrs are really obnoxious on long-haired dogs like ours! They _are_ native here, tho apparently they've become an obnoxious invader weed elsewhere in the world. Dry bed of Lahontan reservoir, Churchill County, Nevada, USA.
